- The facility is designed to be flexible and adaptable.
- Businesses and industry are saved the expense of maintenance
and overhead of maintaining a facility or an area when not
in use.
- The Center makes it possible to conduct training here rather
than sending employees out of town for training.
- We are designed to be self-supporting, and not have continual
appropriations from the state legislature.
- We can be used for the retraining or upgrading of employee's
skills or as a recruitment tool to create a custom-trained
work force.
- Immigrants, refugees and minorities in need of skills training
will be encouraged to participate.
- The facility is designed to be flexible and adaptable.
- The Skills & Technology Training Center provides a
neutral site for operations with similar training needs to
share the cost of training by offering combined classes.
- The Center provides a setting in which high school students
can get hands-on experience in vocational/ technical skills
and promote career interests in those areas.
- The Center can be used for welfare to work programs and
there will be a cooperative effort with Job Service North
Dakota.
We are an asset in attracting new business and industry to the area.
