Professional Experiences: Employed at Xcel Energy for 24 years, working in customer service, marketing, accounting, and most recently, communications. Her present position includes responsibilities for media relations, internal and external communications and support for legislative affairs. Bonnie has weathered many blizzards, windstorms and the historic floods of 1997 and 2009 while providing critical information to the media and customers. Bonnie has volunteered with several community organizations, including the United Way of Cass Clay, serving on the Board of Trustees and various committees. She has helped facilitate various aspects of the Chamber’s Fargo Moorhead Leadership program. She continues to hone her communication skills through active participation in Continuum Toastmasters.
